CORNERSTONE ANNOUNCES THE REMOVAL OF 'WHEN ISSUED' STATUS FROM ITS TRADING SYMBOL

 DALLAS, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Cornerstone Natural Gas, Inc. (AMEX: CGA) announced on Dec. 8, that the American Stock Exchange gave its approval to remove the "when issued" notation from its trading symbol "CGA." The company expects this change to make the stock easier to locate and eliminate any delay with settlement that might have occurred since Nov. 2, 1993, the day the company came out of Chapter 11 proceedings and changed its name.
 Cornerstone is a gas transportation and processing company. The gas transportation segment includes gathering, transmission and marketing of natural gas. The processing segment includes gas liquids recovery, gas treating and petroleum refining.
