COORS, KAISER TACKLE WORKPLACE HEALTH CARE ISSUES

 GOLDEN, Colo., May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The search for solutions to skyrocketing health care costs does not begin and end in the nation's capitol.
 New ideas and cost-effective strategies to enhance the well-being and productivity of workers, reduce health care costs and improve health care will be discussed at a conference May 18, at the Colorado Convention Center.
 Bill Coors, chairman of Adolph Coors Co., (NASDAQ-NMS: ACCOB) will kick off the conference to promote the importance of corporate health programs. Other presenters will talk about the value of preventative medical procedures; the smoke-free workplace; new OSHA requirements; practical tools for employee health promotions; and humor in the workplace.
 The conference is designed for employers, professionals and experts concerned with health, human resources, benefit costs, training, fitness and productivity in the workplace.
 The daylong conference is sponsored by Coors Brewing Co.; Kaiser Permanente; Gorsuch, Kirgis; and Provenant Health Partners. Proceeds from registration fees will benefit the Community Technical Skills Center, a non-profit group which prepares unemployed and underemployed adults with skills to enter the work force.
