"The Cooper team receives full credit for our achievements in 1991," said Ivan W. Gorr, Cooper's chairman and chief executive officer, in announcing the year-end results. "Our employees produced more and sold more product than at anytime in our history. This was an outstanding performance considering the economic environment in which we operated. Demand for tires and engineered rubber products remained strong as our team developed new market opportunities," Gorr stated.
"We are now looking forward to continuing expansion in terms of production capability and further market development in 1992. Our opportunities look good for the coming year," Gorr concluded.
