CONTROL DATA SYSTEMS, INC. COMPLETESACQUISITION OF EVERNET SYSTEMS, INC.

 ARDEN HILLS, Minn., June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Control Data Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDAT) announced today it has concluded its acquisition of Evernet Systems, Inc., a U.S. network systems integration company. The companies had announced their intent to merge in March 1993.
 The purchase price was approximately $22 million, with Control Data Systems paying approximately half in cash and half in Control Data common stock for all the outstanding capital stock of Evernet Systems, Inc.
 Evernet Systems, based in Los Angeles, specializes in the design, integration, and support of multi-vendor network-based systems. These systems, composed of desktop, midrange, and mainframe computers, enable customers to take full advantage of new computing technologies such as client/server software, super server architecture, and advanced multi- protocol routing. The company serves clients in a wide variety of commercial market segments, including financial services, health care, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, legal and other services firms. Evernet employs approximately 180 people, who will become employees of Control Data Systems.
 Michael Caglarcan, former chairman, president, and CEO of Evernet, has been named Vice President of Systems Integration Services for Control Data Systems and an executive officer of the company. Caglarcan brings significant experience in systems integration to Control Data, including 13 years in a variety of management positions at Electronic Data Systems (EDS). At EDS, he was instrumental in winning some of the company's largest federal government and communications industry contracts, and in pioneering EDS' approach to systems integration in government and commercial markets. Prior to Caglarcan's tenure at EDS, he managed a division serving NASA for Computer Sciences Corporation.
