CONTRAVES USA MEDIA OPEN HOUSE MAY 4, 10 A.M. TO NOON
Contraves USA will conduct a media open house on Monday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to noon at its large equipment assembly facility, located at Keystone Commons, East Pittsburgh, Pa.
The open house features a 3.5-meter gimballed telescope system manufactured for the U.S. Air Force's Systems Command. Standing more than 35 feet high and weighing more than 275,000 pounds, the 3.5-meter system is one of the largest and most precise instruments of its kind.
In addition to the telescope, the open house offers an opportunity to meet with Contraves USA President George Dorkhom to learn more about the company and its business plans, as well as opportunities to speak with members of Congress, state government and area economic development agencies.
 Directions to Keystone Commons:
Parkway East to Route 30 (Ardmore Boulevard), Route 30 East to East Pittsburgh/Turtle Creek Exit (Electric Avenue). Turn right at second light onto Braddock Avenue. Turn left at second light (Cable Avenue) and enter Keystone Commons at Gate 6. A facility guard will provide a visitor's badge and directions to Contraves USA's high-bay assembly area.
CONTACT: Steve Fine for Contraves, 412-244-0388, or Bill Dornbos of Contraves, 412-967-7801.
