CONTINENTAL ANNOUNCES NEW NON-STOP FLIGHTS TO MADRID, PARIS AND MUNICH
 HOUSTON, Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Continental Airlines today announced new European service with daily non-stop flights to Madrid, Paris, and Munich, as well as an additional daily non-stop flight from Newark to London. Additional domestic service involving its Denver, Cleveland and Newark hubs will be announced later in December.
 The airline's new non-stop daily service to Paris will depart from Houston's Intercontinental Airport.
 Service to Madrid and Munich, Continental's fourth and fifth European cities, will originate daily from the airline's largest European gateway, Newark. With this new European expansion, Continental will offer 118 weekly transatlantic flights effective June 1, 1992.
 A spokesperson said, "Continental's new European service further strengthens Newark and Houston as major international gateways."
 Newark to Europe
 Service to Madrid begins Jan. 15, 1992, and Munich begins June 1, 1992. Also effective June 1, 1992, Continental will provide an additional non-stop departure to London for the summer season. From its Newark hub Continental currently operates daily non-stop European service to London, Frankfurt and Paris.
 Continental is Newark International Airport's largest carrier with 261 daily departures to 61 destinations including 12 international cities. Daily non-stop widebody service to Mexico City begins Dec. 12, 1991.
 In addition to the European and Mexico City service from Newark, Continental also provides flights to international destinations including Bermuda, Cancun, Montego Bay, Puerto Plata, Santo Domingo, and St. Martin and in the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Thomas and St. Croix.
 Houston to Europe
 Service to Paris, from Houston, is scheduled to begin June 1, 1992. From its Houston hub, Continental currently operates daily non-stop European service to London.
 From Houston, Continental provides 278 daily departures to 74 destinations including 18 international cities. Continental will inaugurate its first widebody service to cities in Central America on Dec. 12, 1991.
 In addition to the European service from Houston, Continental also provides flights to international destinations including eight cities in Mexico, eight in Central America, and one in South America.
 Continental's Houston to Paris service is subject to governmental approval.
