CONSUMERS LEARN "BRIGHT IDEAS ABOUT SAVING ELECTRICITY"
JOINT CEI-HOUSING RESOURCE CENTER PROGRAM EXTENDED
CLEVELAND, Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Want to save energy? Save some money, too? Consumers can learn to do both through the "Bright Ideas About Saving Electricity" program at the Housing Resource Center, 1820 W. 48th St., Cleveland.
"Bright Ideas About Saving Electricity" includes seven hands-on displays -- everything from energy-efficient lighting and appliances, whole-house and window insulation, kitchen and bath improvements and more. Experts also are on hand to answer questions on improved home energy efficiencies.
Positive consumer response has encouraged program co-sponsors -- the Housing Resource Center and the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company (CEI) -- to extend "Bright Ideas About Saving Electricity" through March 29.
"People naturally want to save money," said Al Wasco, director of communications for the Housing Resource Center. "The 'Bright Ideas' program helps consumers do just that."
"This has been a very successful partnership program," said Jim Atkinson, CEI's director of consumer services. "I encourage CEI customers to visit the Housing Resource Center and learn some simple, yet effective ways to save energy, and save money."
To schedule a tour, or for more information about this energy efficiency program, CEI customers should call 216-479-1616 during regular business hours.
