CONQUEST AIRLINES FILES FOURTH AMENDED PETITION AGAINST DEFENDANTS
 AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Conquest Airlines Corp. (NASDAQ: CAIR), a regional airline serving Texas and Louisiana, has filed its fourth amended petition against Pratt & Whitney Canada, Inc., United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX) and several other defendants.
 In this petition, Conquest has alleged various causes of action, including: (1) strict liability, breaches of warranties and negligence in connection with the alleged defective design and manufacture of the Pratt & Whitney PT6A-65B engines and the air cycle machines installed on the Beech 1900C aircraft, and (2) violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, fraud and negligent misrepresentation in connection with alleged misrepresentations concerning the engines and air cycle machines.
 In the fourth amended petition, Conquest seeks actual damages totaling $43,467,876, plus punitive damages not to exceed $150,000,000 (or alternatively additional damages under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act not to exceed three times the amount of actual damages awarded), plus attorney's fees, prejudgment and postjudgment interests and costs of court.
 Conquest Airlines Corp. no longer owns or operates the above mentioned Beech aircraft. The company is flying six Fairchild Metro III 19-seat aircraft and currently operates some 1,700 flights per month serving eleven cities in Texas and Louisiana.
