CONGRESSIONAL QUARTERLY OFFERS HEALTH CARE REFORM UPDATE; CQ'S SPECIAL REPORT ON HEALTH CARE PROVIDES TIMELY ANALYSIS, BACKGROUND

/ADVANCE/ WASHINGTON, Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Congressional Quarterly Inc. (CQ) today announced CQ's Special Report on Health Care, "Health Care's Hour," a Sept. 25 special supplement to the Weekly Report, that will provide in-depth coverage of the entire health care reform debate and President Clinton's reform package.
CQ's "Health Care's Hour" will provide reliable and objective analyses of the diverse statistics, strategies, and reforms being presented to the public. "In one report, CQ will provide a comprehensive examination and explanation of the health care reform debate," said Neil Skene, editor and publisher of CQ.
CQ's "Health Care's Hour" analyzes the health care debate from three angles -- what are the current problems, what is the plan to solve these problems, and what are the politics that will influence the plan. Definitions of new terms and acronyms along with graphs of comparative statistics will also assist in unraveling the complex debate.
CQ's "Health Care's Hour" will provide a legislative road map for Clinton's plan -- including analysis of key committees and subcommittees, who the key players are from the White House to Capitol Hill and which interest groups are involved.
Since 1945, CQ's Weekly Report has been the "bible" on Congress -- providing complete, accurate, objective coverage of all significant events on Capitol Hill and in American politics. CQ's "Health Care's Hour" is written by CQ's award-winning editorial staff -- the largest press delegation on Capitol Hill.
