CONESCO ANNOUNCES RECORD BACKLOG AND NEW DISTRIBUTOR AGREEMENT WITH COUNTRY'S LARGEST MANUFACTURER OF CONCRETE FORMING EQUIPMENT

 LITTLE FERRY, N.J., April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Charles J. Trainor, president and chairman of Conesco Industries, Ltd. (NASDAQ: CNSC) announced today that his company had been favored with an order well in excess of $2 million to supply concrete forming equipment on a major roadway expansion project in Boston. This order will commence shipping in the second quarter and will be completed during the third quarter. This order together with other business written in the past month raised the company's backlog to $3.5 million.
 Accordingly, the company has revised its projections for calendar year 1993 and expects to exceed $8,000,000 in total revenues, a higher amount than posted in any of the last five years.
 In other developments, Mr. Trainor announced his company had recently agreed to represent Symons Manufacturing, the country's largest manufacturer of concrete forming equipment. The full impact of this new distributor's agreement with Symons will not be felt until calendar year 1994 but Mr. Trainor further stated that the first year's revenues under this agreement, should exceed $1 million.
