CON-WAY INTERMODAL AGE DISCRIMINATION SUIT
CON-WAY INTERMODAL AGE DISCRIMINATION SUIT PALO ALTO, Calif., July 31 /PRNewswire/ -- A U.S. District Court
jury in Fort Worth, Texas, has awarded an employee of Con-Way Intermodal
$2.04 million in an age discrimination lawsuit with $25 million in
Con-Way Intermodal is a subsidiary of Con-Way Transportation
Services Inc. which is owned by Consolidated Freightways Inc.
The company said the verdict is absurd and is not supported by the
facts. The company will immediately request that the verdict be set
aside, and if denied, the decision will be appealed.
