COMPUTER PRODUCTS NAMES HARPLE VICE PRESIDENT OF CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT
 BOCA RATON, Fla., Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Computer Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: CPRD), today announced it has appointed Kenneth G. Harple vice president of corporate development, reporting to John N. Lemasters, chairman, president and chief executive officer. Harple will operate from the firm's corporate office in Boca Raton, and will be responsible for coordinating the company's internal and external development programs. He will initially focus on the company's most important product line development program, the high density converter.
 Lemasters stated, "We are fortunate to be able to attract a senior executive into our corporation who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in each of our three product lines: industrial process automation, real-time computers, and power supplies. This 32 year industry veteran will add both technology and management strength to the development of Computer Products."
 Prior to joining Computer Products, Harple was president and chief executive officer of Microdyne Corporation's Satellite and Telemetry Equipment Division in Ocala, Fla., and has held several other senior management positions with Analogic, Scientific Data Systems, Systems Engineering Laboratories, Autech and was the founder and president of Modcomp Corporation.
 Computer Products, Inc., headquartered in Boca Raton, is a multinational manufacturer of standard and custom-designed electronic products and subsystems for power conversion, industrial automation, and other real-time systems applications. The company has operations in Pompano Beach, Fla.; Madison, Wis.; Boston; Fremont, Calif.; Hong Kong and the Republic of Ireland.
