COMPUTER CITY TO OPEN THREE SUPERCENTERS IN JUNE

 FORT WORTH, Texas, June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Computer City(R), the nation's fastest growing computer superstore chain, is opening SuperCenters this month in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Santa Ana, Calif. and Seattle. The openings will increase the Computer City SuperCenter total to 24 stores worldwide.
 "These openings represent a continuing, aggressive expansion plan to locate Computer City SuperCenters in major markets throughout the United States," said Computer City President Alan Bush. "Our plan is to open 16 new SuperCenters during each of the next three years."
 Other U.S. locations include Buffalo and Rochester, N.Y.; Boston; Detroit; Baltimore; Minneapolis-St. Paul; Seattle; Los Angeles; San Diego; Las Vegas; Tampa, Fla.; St. Louis; and Houston, Dallas, Austin, El Paso and Arlington, Texas.
 Computer City will open a third European SuperCenter, in Stockholm, Sweden, later this year. Computer City currently operates one SuperCenter in Stockholm and another in Copenhagen, Denmark.
 Computer City is the only computer superstore chain in the nation authorized to sell America's leading brands of personal computer products - Apple, AST, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Packard Bell and Tandy(R).
 The superstore concept allows Computer City to offer a wide range of computer and home office products at the lowest possible prices. The selection includes more than 5,000 different name-brand products from leading manufacturers including Canon, Casio, Citizen, Epson, Microsoft, Intel, Sharp, Sony and Toshiba.
 Computer City offers valuable services such as in-store configuration and maintenance facilities, classroom training, leasing options and credit plans. Each SuperCenter has a dedicated Business Sales Group (BSG) to service commercial, government and educational accounts.
