COMPUTER CITY AND THE DREAM FACTORY SPONSOR 'DARE TO DREAM'; HOLIDAY PROMOTION BENEFITS CRITICALLY AND CHRONICALLY ILL CHILDREN

 LOUISVILLE, Ky., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The Dream Factory, a non- profit organization that grants dreams to critically and chronically ill children, announced it has reached an agreement with Computer City SuperCenters, a division of Fort Worth, Texas-based Tandy Corporation (NYSE: TAN) to fulfill the dreams of eligible children this holiday season.
 Beginning Nov. 1, Computer City SuperCenters will sponsor a nationwide "Name the Elf" contest. The "Dare to Dream" program will include the sale of "Name the Elf" coloring books. All proceeds will be used to grant dreams of children in Computer City markets across the United States. In addition, participating Computer City vendors will offer purchase incentives on selected products and/or make donations to the "Dare to Dream" program.
 As part of the program, Computer City will also distribute more than 800,000 Dream Factory brochures through their outlets in 21 major markets nationwide.
 The holiday promotion will end December 24, 1993.
