DALLAS, July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- CompUSA Inc. (NASDAQ: CUSA), the nation's largest computer superstore retailer, today announced a 58.3 percent increase in sales to $237 million for the fiscal 1992 fourth quarter ended June 30, compared with $150 million for the fourth quarter a year ago.

"Our total and comparable-store sales for the fourth quarter were our strongest performance of the year," said Nathan Morton, president and chief executive officer. We expect to continually expand our market presence as we execute our aggressive national store opening plan."
