COMPOUNDING TECHNOLOGY INC. CREATES NEW POSITIONS OF CHAIRMAN AND PRESIDENT

 CORONA, Calif., June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Frank Jackson has been promoted to the position of president and chief operating officer of Compounding Technology Inc. (CTi), a wholly owned subsidiary of CIMCO Inc. (NASDAQ: CIMC). In a related move, Russell T. Gilbert has been named to the newly created position of chairman of the board of CTi. CTi custom formulates thermoplastic resins, enhancing the properties of the material in the process.
 "Frank has led the CTi team for many years and has contributed strongly to our current success in the reinforced materials market," said Gilbert. "Under Frank's guidance, CTi achieved a compounded 28 percent growth rate over the last five years." Jackson has been with CTi for more than 12 years. He joined CTi in 1980 as general manager and in 1983 was promoted to vice president and general manager. In 1988, he then moved to executive vice president and in May 1993, assumed his present position. Jackson oversees operations for all of CTi, including the Corona, North Carolina and Singapore facilities.
 Compounding Technology Inc. custom formulates and compounds high- performance reinforced and filled thermoplastic materials for use in the electrical/electronics, consumer, telecommunications, commercial irrigation, sporting equipment and computer industries.
