Pasture Management - The Oregon State University Extension Service in Lane County is starting a Small-Scale & Urban Farming Series with the first class on "Pasture Management" to be held from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at OSU Extension office, 996 Jefferson St. in Eugene; cost of each session is $25; class is for small-acreage land owners who are managing pasture and livestock; learn how to improve pasture productivity by managing soil health, fertilizing and liming, and grazing systems; class limited to 25 participants; advance registration required; 541-344-5859, or visit Extension office to pick up an application.
