COMMAND CREDIT SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH ST. LANDRY BANK AND TRUST

 ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y., Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Command Credit Corp. (NASDAQ: CDMD), an international financial services company specializing in secured bank credit cards, St. Landry Bank and Trust Co. (St. Landry Bank) of Opelousas, La. and United States Credit Association (USCA) announced today that they have signed an agreement to issue secured credit cards on a national basis.
 St. Landry Bank currently offers standard unsecured credit cards to their local area. The bank believes that there is additional opportunity in offering a secured credit program to specific special interest groups and new members of the work force.
 Robert Tomlinson, president and chairman of St. Landry Bank, stated that, "I am pleased to announced that St. Landry Bank will add secured credit cards to its current product base. We believe that secured credit cards are important services needed in our community and others. Not only are they essential to individuals trying to establish credit, they are also attractive profit makers for the bank."
 William G. Lucas, chairman and chief executive officer of Command Credit, stated that, "Working with St. Landry Bank presents Command with an additional opportunity to expand its servicing capabilities and expand its secured card expertise to yet another area of the country. Command will provide back-office services for the bank which include application processing, credit review, account initiation, customer service and collections."
 Walter Nieves, president of USCA, which will assume the marketing responsibilities for the secured card program at St. Landry stated that, "This program will allow USCA the ability to bring thousands of credit card applicants to a bank that is interested in growing and generating increased profit margins."
 Lucas further stated that Command is in significant contract negotiations with several other credit card issuing banks. This represents the third consecutive bank contract that Command has signed in the past two months. Implementation of Command's existing 14 affinity group contracts has begun and it is expected that the issuance of credit cards to these affinity groups will commence early in 1994.
