 COMCAST ANNOUNCES REDEMPTION OF $110 MILLION, 11-3/4 PERCENT
 SENIOR SUBORDINATED DEBENTURES DUE AUG. 1, 2006
 PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ-NMS: CMCSA, CMCSK) announced today that it intends to redeem all of its outstanding 11-3/4 percent Senior Subordinated Debentures Due Aug. 1, 2006, on Sept. 21, 1992, at the redemption price 103.92 percent of their principal amount together with interest accrued thereon to that date, or a total of $1,055.52 per $1,000 principal amount.
 Bondholders have been notified effective Sept. 9, 1992, by Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York which serves at trustee for the issue.
 On Sept. 21, 1992, the redemption price will become due and payable upon all debentures, and interest on the debentures shall cease to accrue on and after that date.
 Comcast Corporation is principally engaged in the development and operation of cable television and cellular communications systems. The company's consolidated and affiliated cable operation served more than 2.8 million subscribers at June 30, 1992. This included more than 830,000 subscribers representing 50 percent of the total subscribers served by Storer Communications, Inc.
 The company provides cellular telephone services in the Northeast United States to markets encompassing a population in excess of 7.3 million. In addition, Comcast is also engaged in the sale and installation of sound communications systems, owning the largest independent network of background music systems operating under the Muzak(R) name.
 The Class A and Class A Special common stock are traded in the Over- the-Counter market and are reported in the National Market List under the NASDAQ symbols CMCSA and CMCSK, respectively.
