 COLUMBIA LABORATORIES SIGNS AGREEMENT TO SHARE TECHNOLOGY
 WITH INSITE VISION INCORPORATED
 HOLLYWOOD, Fla., March 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Columbia Laboratories, Inc. (AMEX: COB) announced that it has entered into an agreement to share technology with Insite Vision Incorporated, a California based company specializing in ophthalmic products, pursuant to which the companies will grant each other licenses to their respective technologies.
 Columbia obtained from Insite, the worldwide rights to market ophthalmic, veterinary products which utilize Insite's sustained release gel technology. In addition, Columbia obtained the right to market, in all parts of the world except North America and portions of Asia, ophthalmic, over-the-counter drugs which utilize Insite's sustained release gel technology.
 In exchange, Insite obtained from Columbia, the worldwide rights to market prescription ophthalmic products which utilize Columbia's biodahesive technology. In addition, Insite obtained the right to market, in North America and portions of Asia, ophthalmic, over-the- counter drugs which utilize Columbia's bioadhesive technology.
 Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
 William J. Bologna, Columbia's chairman said, "We believe that this mutual sharing of technology will strengthen and help diversify our patented OTC franchise worldwide."
 Columbia Laboratories, Inc. is a U.S. based international pharmaceutical company established in 1987, dedicated to developing and marketing drugs based on its patented bioadhesive delivery system.
