 GOURMET WEEKEND MARCH 21-22
SUNRIVER, Ore., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Northwest food and wine will be the focus of a gourmet weekend March 21-22, co-sponsored by Washington state's Columbia Crest winery and Oregon's Sunriver Lodge & Resort, the winery announced today.
Intensive seminars on food and wine pairings, grape growing in Washington state's Columbia Valley and advanced culinary techniques are designed to lure hoteliers, restaurateurs and other industry members who normally work weekends. Speakers include Columbia Crest winemaker Doug Gore and Northwest chef John Sarich.
The weekend's highlight is a gourmet dinner Saturday night featuring four courses, from broiled sturgeon to herb-stuffed pheasant, paired with complementary Columbia Crest wines.
Prices for the event are $59 for Saturday events only, or $75 for the entire weekend, including Sunday brunch.
