COLONIAL INTERMEDIATE HIGH INCOME FUND RESETS INTEREST RATE ON ITS SENIOR EXTENDIBLE NOTES

 BOSTON, June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Colonial Intermediate High Income Fund (NYSE: CIF) announced today that effective June 15, 1993, it had reset the interest rate payable on its Senior Extendible Notes. The previous rate was 9.93 percent. The new rate is 6.21 percent. The Fund incurred expenses of $175,000 in connection with this transaction.
