COIA TWIN BEATS JAIL.
Byline: JAMES TAITTHE pervert twin brother of Scots TV star Paul Coia escaped jail yesterday despite being snared in a worldwide anti-child porn investigation.
At Stirling Sheriff Court, Gerard Coia, 48, the identical twin of the former Catchword presenter, was given three years' probation after he was caught with sick child porn pictures on his computer.
Sheriff Robert Younger said he had escaped jail because he was a first offender and of "good character".
