 COCHRAN JOINS WOOD, STRUTHERS & WINTHROP
 AS MANAGING DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
 NEW YORK, June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- G. Moffett Cochran has joined Wood, Struthers & Winthrop Management Corp. as managing director in charge of marketing and chairman of the firm's executive committee. He reports to Carl B. Menges, chairman and chief executive officer of this 121-year old investment management firm, a subsidiary of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
 Menges said, "Mr. Cochran's experience in business development and client relationship management complement Wood, Struthers & Winthrop's balanced investment style and will help us bring our services to a greater number of individuals and families seeking a full service investment manager."
 For the past 11 years Moffett was with Bessemer Trust Companies where he was a senior vice president, director of client banking services and member of that firm's management and executive committees. For the five years prior, he was in the Trust & Investment Division of J.P. Morgan & Co., Inc.
 Cochran, 41 years old, is a native of Virginia. He graduated from the University of Virginia's College of Arts and Sciences in 1973 and is a 1976 graduate of its Law School. Cochran is a member of the board of directors of Palmer National Bank in Washington, D.C., and is a trustee and chairman of the finance committee of the Episcopal High School in Virginia. He and his wife, and their two children, reside in New Canaan, Conn.
 Menges also announced that two long-time Wood, Struthers & Winthrop executives have been names managing directors. Martin Jaffee has been names managing director of administration and James A. Engle has been named managing director of investments. Both are members of the executive committee.
 Founded in 1871, Wood, Struthers & Winthrop is a balanced investment manager. The firm provides full service investment management, tax and financial planning services to wealthy individuals, families, foundations, endowments and employee benefit plans. The firm currently has more than $1.4 billion under management.
