COAST BOWLS: Rhos keep up pressure.


CHAMPIONS Beaumaris A are still neck and neck with Rhos Park at the top of the Rigby Taylor North Wales Coast Bowls League Section A after both teams won their matches 11-3.

Beaumaris were successful at Caernarfon, whileRhos Park beat Bangor City at home with Steve Lawley (21-4) the best Rhos winner and Gary Buckland (21-3) top man for Bangor.

Deganwy lost ground in an 11-3 defeat at Llanfairpwllbut Denbigh A improved their position with an 11-3 verdict at home to Dyserth A.

Ivor Gwyn Williams won 21-11 for Denbigh with Andy Jones succeeding with a 21-4 score for Dyserth.
