CMS REDUCES PRICING ON ENTIRE LINE OF 2.5-INCH NOTEBOOK HARD DRIVES AND HARD DRIVE UPGRADE KITS BY UP TO 30 PERCENT.

CMS Peripherals Inc.(R), one of the industry's leading provider of notebook hard drives and upgrade kits, Monday annoqnced extensive price reductions of up to 30 percent on their entire line of Easy-Plug Easy-Go notebook hard drives and EasyBundle notebook hard drive upgrade kits ranging from 6GB to 30GB.

Fully tested, both the 2.5-inch notebook hard drive upgrades and data transfer kits provide complete compatibility and reliability to meet or exceed the original notebook manufacturer's drive specifications for more than 500 notebook PC models. With this latest cost reduction, CMS Peripherals offers IT managers a cost-effective alternative to replacing outdated and under capacity notebooks.

The CMS Easy-Plug Easy-Go notebook hard drive upgrades are designed to boost a user's notebook capacity to more than 10 times its original. The rugged design of these 6GB, 10GB, 12GB 18GB, 20GB and 30GB solutions are able to withstand tough notebook use without sacrificing high performance or fast access to files.

The EasyBundle notebook hard drive upgrade and data transfer kit provides users with as much as 30GB of additional data storage in one complete package.

EasyBundle includes a CMS Easy-Plug Easy Go hard drive, Windows 95/98/NT/2000/Me drive image software, a PCMCIA card and transfer cable connection as well as ESD protection and shock-preventive hardware enabling users to safely and easily transfer the operating system, applications and files in just minutes.

Shipping now, the Easy-Plug Easy-Go notebook hard drive upgrades were reduced from estimated street prices (ESP) starting at $329 to $279 for 6GB, $569 to $339 for 10GB, $469 to $409 for 12GB, $639 to $529 for 18GB, $659 to $529 for 20GB, and $949 to $909 for 30GB solutions.

The EasyBundle notebook hard drive upgrade and data transfer kit has been reduced from an ESP starting at $429 to $379 for 6GB, $609 to $439 for 10GB, $579 to $519 for 12GB, $729 to $639 for 18GB, $720 to $639 for 20GB, and $999 to $972 for 30GB solutions. Both the Easy-Plug Easy-Go and EasyBundle solutions include a 3-year warranty.
