CMS Products ships 100GB ABSplus ultra portable backup and restore system.
The ABSplus product line is the industry's first comprehensive all-in-one software and hardware solution providing users with complete backup, restore and disaster recovery capabilities and a bootable hard drive. It is an extremely easy-to-use, plug-and-play device powered by CMS Products' robust BounceBack Professional software. The BounceBack software creates a complete, fully bootable backup of a notebook, desktop or Tablet PC's entire hard drive once the ABSplus is connected.
The ABSplus incorporates a QuickRestore module to further enhance its disaster recovery and backup capabilities. QuickRestore simplifies the data recovery process by allowing users to recover data as a result of hard drive failure or accidental deletion by simply clicking on the "Restore" button. Once activated, the backup device performs a complete restoration of only selected data from the most recent backup of the computer's hard drive.
The ABSplus incorporates the patent-pending Automatic Launcher to monitor and launch backups upon connection and eliminates the hassle associated with manual backup. All backed up data is saved in native file format to provide fast, easy data recovery and access. The ABSplus also can be connected to a compatible system or computer to be used as an external hard drive, providing users an added level of insurance in the event of data loss or theft.
The ABSplus is available in ultra portable or desktop versions and supports backup, archival and migration of data with one of the market's lowest total cost of ownership (TCO). The portable ABSplus is available with the choice of USB2.0, PCMCIA or FireWire interfaces and comes with a three-year warranty. Capacities range from 20GB to 100GB. Street pricing for the 20GB portable version starts at $199.
The desktop ABSplus is available in capacities ranging between 80GB to 250GB with USB 2.0, PCMCIA or FireWire interfaces and includes a three-year warranty. Street pricing for the desktop 80GB version starts at $209.
