 CMS ANNOUNCES JOINT MARKETING VENTURE
 DEARBORN, Mich., March 18 /PRNewswire/ -- CMS Gas Marketing Company


of Dearborn, and Natural Gas Services, Inc., of Owensboro, Ky., announced they will jointly market natural gas and natural gas management services throughout a six-state mid-South market region.
 CMS Gas Marketing is a wholly owned subsidiary of CMS Energy Corporation (NYSE: CMS), which is also parent to the Consumers Power Company, Michigan's largest utility and the nation's fourth-largest combination gas-electric utility. Natural Gas Services is an independent gas marketing company active in the mid-South region.
 William W. Schivley, vice president and general manager of CMS Gas Marketing, said the joint agreement "expands our professional base and enhances our natural gas service capability to our customers."
 Schivley said the two companies' shared philosophy of providing quality customer service in addition to reliable commodity was a major factor in concluding the joint agreement with Natural Gas Services.
 CMS Energy Corporation is a $3 billion (sales) diversified energy company with businesses engaged in the distribution of electricity and natural gas, interstate storage and transmission of natural gas, oil and gas exploration and production, independent power generation and utility services. CMS Energy Corporation's principal subsidiary is Consumers Power Company.
