CMS/DATA CORPORATION ANNOUNCES RESULTS

 TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Nov. 16 ~PRNewswire~ -- CMS~DATA Corporation (NASDAQ: LAWR) today reported consolidated operating results for the three month period ended Sept. 30, 1992. The revenues and earnings figures reported below include the accounts of the company's subsidiaries, PC DOCS, Inc., CompInfo, Inc., and Canterbury Systems Corp.
 First quarter revenues were $3,982,000 compared to $3,712,700 for the same period last year, an increase of 7.3 percent. Net income after taxes was $422,400 compared to $23,600 for the same period last year. Earnings per share for the first quarter were $0.11, compared to $0.01 for the same period last year, on 3,859,000 weighted average shares for both periods.
 The company's revenues for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 1992, excluding hardware sales, increased by 14 percent. Included in this increase are sales from PC DOCS(R), other application software, peripherals, service and software support agreements from existing and new clients. Selling, general and administrative expenses decreased by 7.2 percent. The decrease is a reflection of the company's cost reduction programs implemented over the past year.
 The company continues the expansion of PC DOCS(R) by building an international presence through a network of dealers, together with its own sales and marketing force. During Fiscal 1993, the company is anticipating the release of a number of new products currently under development.
 CompInfo and Canterbury, Corp. design, market, support and integrate systems for the legal profession; and the company's subsidiary, PC DOCS(R), Inc., markets its document management and control system product to business, hospitals, financial institutions, government agencies and the legal industry in North America.
