CM visits Qamari, announces developmental projects.
ASTORE -- Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan, Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman has said that Mini Marg would be made new Tehsil and its notification would be issued after completing the necessary procedure.
He was addressing an open katcheri during his two-day visit to Qamari area of Gilgit- Baltistan. Provincial Minister, Rana Farman Ali, Parliamentary Secretary for Health, Barkat Jamil, Deputy Commissioner and concerned officials were present on the occasion.
Chief Minister said that projects worth Rs 2 billion would be competed in district Astore. He said that projects would also be initiated to promote tourism in Mini Marg area adding to conserve local forests LPG cylinder would be introduced on special rates in Mini Marg on subsidized rates.
He also reviewed pace of work on various ongoing projects and directed contractors to complete the developmental schemes within stipulated time limit.
CM also visited District Headquarter Hospital Astore and directed to complete the building of blood bank on emergency basis. He also announced construction of a primary school in Nagai and a middle school in Mini Marg and Qamari.
During the visit, CM was also briefed by former District Member, Saaqib regarding the problems confronted by area citizenry.
