CLOUGH'S HURT.

NIGEL CLOUGH is backing his "wounded" Blades to recover their pride at Fulham's expense.

Sheffield United were thumped 3-0 by fellow League One strugglers Crewe on Saturday - but hit the capital confident of another giant-killing after winning at Aston Villa in the previous round.

Clough said: "My players are wounded and hurting because there was no vibrancy or urgency about us at Crewe. We are annoyed... we just don't know where that performance came from.

"I am certainly looking for a reaction, and I sense the lads feel the same. They are in the mood to have a right good go at it - just like they did at Villa."
