CLAITOR'S PUBLISHING BEGINS SHIPPING 1993-94 CONGRESSIONAL DIRECTORY

BATON ROUGE, La., Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Claitor's Publishing Division, the leading private re-publisher of federal "best seller" reference books, announced today it has begun shipping the Congressional Directory 1993-94, the sixth title to be added to Claitor's line of federal best sellers.
This is the official directory to the 103rd Congress compiled by the Congressional Joint Committee on Printing. It contains any and all official information available on the 103rd Congress, including addresses, phone and fax numbers, committee assignments, names of staff members, congressional districts descriptions, maps, and ZIP codes included in those districts.
Moreover, the directory also includes complete listings, contacts, addresses and phone numbers of the press galleries, federal departments, foreign representatives and consular offices in the U.S., independent agencies, international organizations, the judiciary, and a host of other information.
"This is the directory for those who want to know who's who, what's what, and where's where in the Clinton administration. It's a must have," said Robert G. Claitor, president.
Other federal best sellers by Claitor are as follows:

The United States Government Manual, 1993-94 edition.
This guide is the perfect complement to the Congressional Directory. Anything not covered in the Congressional Directory can be found in this survival guide to the bureaucratic jungle.

U.S. Industrial Outlook, 1993 ed.
This just published reference provides a comprehensive overview of the U.S. economy through an industry-by-industry analysis. Companies are moving from mainframe and minicomputers to networked desktop workstations. What does this mean to you and your company? Which of the top 500 will be on the Fortune 500 blue chip list 10 years from now and which will be sweet memories? Industrial Outlook helps you find the growth opportunities and employment opportunities.

Occupational Outlook Handbook, 1992 ed.
This is the "mother of all employment outlook" handbooks. "This is the prime occupational directory in the United States, THE source that filters down from all other references," according to the American Library Association. Twenty years ago, no one ever heard of a multimedia specialist or paralegal, and journalism was a growth profession with a multitude of openings. Today the reverse is true. If you want to be on the cutting edge in the growth industries of tomorrow, and find which of your current skills can be leveraged into a new career opportunity, this reference should be on your shelf.

The Dictionary of Occupational Titles, 4th edition, 1991 revision.
This two-volume set is the complement to the Occupational Outlook Handbook. It's not for everyone, but employment, career counseling and human resources specialists will find it a gold mine of information.
