CJ set up four benches for judicial week from Monday.

ISLAMABAD -- Chief Justice, Supreme Court of Pakistan, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has constituted four benches including a special bench to hear cases during the judicial week starting from Monday.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry would head the Bench No. 1, the other members would be Justice Gulzar Ahmad and Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed. Bench No. 2 comprising Justice Jawad S. Khawaja and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain, Bench No. 3 consisting Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali and Justice Ijaz Afzal Khan. While Justice Khilji Arif Hussain would preside the Special Bench comprising Justice Gulzar Ahmad and Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed.

During the judicial week starting from Monday (January 14) hearing of several cases would be resumed including Balochistan law and order situation, appointment of Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf's son-in-law Raja Azeemul Haq as ED in World Bank, allotment of CDA plots, Dual Nationality case, Irregularities and corruption in PIA, vulgar programs on TV channels, Media Commission case, Sindh Local Government Ordinance 2012, Shahzeb murder case, AISAF containers case, OGRA case, Victims of Kuwait, Margalla Tower victims case and DG IB Major Nadeem Arif case.
