CITY LOOKS INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES OPENING OF SALONS IN CHICAGO AREA
 Moscow, Paris ... Now Chicago
City Looks(R) International announces the opening of the international salon chain's two newest locations scheduled to open on Friday, July 31, and Saturday, Aug. 1, in the Chicago area; in Deerfield and Frankfort, Ill., with additional locations scheduled to open during the fall of 1992.
City Looks, a division of The Barbers (R) Hairstyling for Men & Women, Inc., a Minneapolis-based hair salon franchise company and part of a 630-salon system will introduce to the Chicago area the full services system, providing the latest trends using concepts and designs gathered from throughout Europe.
The salons are staffed with highly trained specialists in hairstyling, hair coloring, the newest trends in makeup and skin care.
The Deerfield salon is located at 675 Waukegan Road and owned by Corrine Glover, an award-winning stylist who has received numerous awards for her outstanding styling skills. Glover has staffed the salon with stylists, color specialists, manicurists and makeup artists from various areas in America and an international member of her styling staff from South America.
The second location on 301 White Street, Frankfort, is owned by Jeff and Deborah Schwab.
City Looks Salons International recently opened the first American salon in Moscow (formerly the Soviet Union) in an 18th century building only six blocks from the Kremlin.
Joe Francis, founder and chairman of the board, said, "It's amazing, the demand for our salon, its services and products, in a country who's people have so little, are clamoring to buy the latest American makeup, styling products and styling services." The salon is staffed with 45 employees and anticipates crowds of clients similar to McDonalds.
The newest European salon was opened in Paris two weeks ago. It is the first of 100 City Looks salons planned for the European community.
Clients are cordially invited to visit the salons during the grand opening week. Complimentary makeup and consultation sessions on the latest trends and styles will be offered to inform and demonstrate the latest techniques in styling services.
Francis will be present at the Deerfield location on Friday and Frankfort on Saturday. He will be available for additional information and background on this exciting international concept.
