? CITROEN is extending the C4 range with the introduction of the C4 Aircross. Designed to mix the practicality of the regular C4 with off-roader styling cues, the C4 Aircross is available with two and four-wheel drive versions in some markets and will be launched in the UK during the second half of 2012. The Aircross is fitted with a latest generation four-wheel transmission system, allowing the car to be driven permanently in four-wheel drive mode, with the torque optimally distributed between the front and rear wheels. The driver also has the option to run in a fixed front-wheel drive mode for optimum economy as well as a locked four-wheel drive mode for the toughest conditions. The C4 Aircross will be offered with one petrol and two diesel engines, with the HDi 110 engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox for the lowest fuel consumption and emissions.
