CITIBANK TO OFFER ASSISTANCE TO SMALL BUSINESSES IN WAKE OF WORLD TRADE CENTER BLAST

NEW YORK, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Citibank today announced that it will set up a special location staffed by SBA/credit specialists to offer assistance to small businesses that have been affected by the disruption of activity at the World Trade Center.
Specialists will initially be located at Citibank's 120 Broadway branch, and will then move to the World Trade Center branch as soon as it reopens. Services for small businesses affected by the incident will be available through the end of the month.
SBA and New York City Small Business Reserve Fund lending will be available at below market rates for qualified applicants. Under these programs, eligible applicants will benefit from longer repayment periods than conventional bank financing, easing the strain on cash flow.
