       CHRYSLER VICE CHAIRMAN HEADS ECONOMIC LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE
    WASHINGTON, Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert S. Miller, Vice Chairman of Chrysler Corporation (NYSE: C), has been elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Congressional Economic Leadership Institute (CELI).  He succeeds economist and author Pat Choate.
    CELI, a private, non-partisan organization, was established in 1987 to provide a forum for leaders of Congress, business, labor and academe to discuss economic policy matters.  The congressional co-chairpersons are Sens. Max Baucus (D-Mont.) and John Chafee (R-R.I.), and Reps. Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio) and Jim Kolbe (R-Ariz.).
    Miller joined Chrysler in 1979 and was elected Vice Chairman in May, 1990.  He is responsible for Chrysler Financial Corporation, Chrysler Technologies, International Operations.  He is a member of Chrysler's Board of Directors.
