CHRYSLER REPORTS U.S. AND CANADIAN ASSEMBLY PLANT SCHEDULE FOR WEEK ENDING SEPT. 10

 HIGHLAND PARK, Mich., Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Chrysler Corporation (NYSE: C) reports seven of its eight U.S. assembly plants and all three of its Canadian assembly plants will operate next week.
 St. Louis (Fenton, Mo.) Assembly Plant II will operate three seven- hour shifts for four days next week.
 Jefferson North (Detroit), Sterling Heights (Mich.) and Toledo (Ohio) assembly plants will operate two nine-hour shifts for four days next week.
 Dodge City (Warren, Mich.) and Newark (Del.) assembly plants will operate two eight-hour shifts for four days next week.
 New Mack Avenue Viper (Detroit) Assembly Plant will operate one eight-hour shift for four days next week.
 In Ontario, Bramalea, Pillette and Windsor assembly plants will operate two eight-hour shifts for four days next week.
 As previously announced, Belvidere (Ill.) Assembly Plant will not operate next week because of model changeover. The plant will resume production the week of Nov. 29.
