CHRYSLER REPORTS U.S. AND CANADIAN ASSEMBLY PLANT SCHEDULE FOR WEEK ENDING JUNE 11

 HIGHLAND PARK, Mich., June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Chrysler Corporation (NYSE: C) reports six of its eight U.S. assembly plants and all three of its Canadian assembly plants will operate next week.
 St. Louis (Fenton, Mo.) Assembly Plant II will operate two nine-hour shifts on Saturday, June 5, and one eight-hour shift on Sunday, June 6. St. Louis II will also operate three seven-hour shifts each day next week.
 Jefferson North (Detroit) and Sterling Heights (Mich.) assembly plants will operate two eight-hour shifts on Saturday, June 5. Jefferson North, Sterling Heights and Toledo (Ohio) assembly plants will operate two nine-hour shifts each day next week.
 Newark (Del.) Assembly Plant will operate two eight-hour shifts each day next week.
 New Mack Avenue Viper (Detroit) Assembly Plant will operate one eight-hour shift each day next week.
 In Canada, Bramalea, Pillette and Windsor (Ontario) assembly plants will operate two eight-hour shifts each day next week. Windsor and Bramalea will also operate two eight-hour shifts on Saturday, June 5. Bramalea will also operate one 10-hour shift on Sunday, June 6. Windsor will operate two six-hour shifts on Sunday, June 6.
 As previously announced, Dodge City (Warren, Mich.) and Belvidere (Ill.) assembly plants will not operate next week because of model changeover. Dodge City will resume production the week of July 19, and Belvidere will resume production the week of Nov. 29.
