CHRYSLER ANNOUNCES REVISED CASH INCENTIVE PROGRAM

 HIGHLAND PARK, Mich., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Chrysler Corporation (NYSE: C) today announced a revised program of national consumer incentives on retail purchases or leases of new 1993 and some 1994 model cars and trucks, effective Oct. 1 through Dec. 31, 1993.
 Called "Winning Values," the revised program provides cash values, which vary by model, ranging from $300 to $2,000. The new program replaces incentives which ended Sept. 30.
 As an alternative to cash, buyers may choose annual percentage rate (APR) financing from Chrysler Credit. The rates are: 2.9 percent for terms of 1-24 months, 4.9 for 25-36 months, 5.9 for 37-48 months and 6.9 for 49-60 months.
 The Jeep(R) Cherokee no-charge air conditioning on '93 two-wheel- drive models continues on units taken from dealer stock through Dec. 31, 1993. The '94 Cherokee 2WD and 4WD models will have no-charge air conditioning on all units taken from dealer stock or ordered and built before Dec. 31, 1993.
 Special Gold Key Plus/Gold Key Lease programs offer low APR finance rates and residual increases through Oct. 31 on Chrysler New Yorker and Chrysler LHS models. The contracts of 12 to 36 months offer payments as low as $319 per month for New Yorker.
 Chrysler continues its first-time buyer $500 cash on '93 and '94 Plymouth Laser and Eagle Talon models through Dec. 31, 1993.
 The 1994 models covered under the third quarter incentive program include the Chrysler LeBaron Sedan, Plymouth Acclaim, Dodge Spirit, Plymouth Sundance, Dodge Shadow, Plymouth Laser, Eagle Talon, Dodge and Plymouth Colt, Eagle Summit, Dodge Stealth, Jeep Wrangler and Dodge Ram Wagon/Van/Conversion Van.
 The incentive cash values, models covered are:
 $2,000 -- '93 Shadow convertible; '93 Ram Wagon/Van/Conversion Van.
 $1,500 -- '93 Dodge Ramcharger; '93 Ram pickup (2WD and 4WD gas); '93 Chrysler LeBaron coupe; '93 Chrysler LeBaron sedan; '93 Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue; '93 Imperial; '93 Dodge Spirit; '93 Plymouth Acclaim.
 $1,000 -- '93 Dodge Shadow (excl. convertibles); '93 Plymouth Sundance; '93 Dodge Dynasty; '93 Daytona; '93 and '94 Dodge Stealth (all); '94 Dodge Spirit; '94 Plymouth Acclaim; '94 Chrysler LeBaron Sedan; '93 Chrysler New Yorker Salon; '93 Eagle Summit 4-door; '93 Dodge & Plymouth Colt 4-door; '94 Ram Wagon/Van/Conversion Van.
 $700 -- '93 Eagle Talon; '93 Plymouth Laser.
