CHRYSLER ANNOUNCES FINANCE PERSONNEL CHANGES

 HIGHLAND PARK, Mich., July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Chrysler Corporation (NYSE: C) has realigned its Treasurer's Office and assigned specific finance responsibilities within the Controller's Office each of the vehicle platform teams. The following appointments and changes are effective immediately:
 Roderick M. Sherwood III, assistant treasurer - Corporate Investment and Cash Management Planning, has been appointed assistant treasurer - Corporate Finance. In addition to his current responsibilities, the Merger, Acquisition and Divestiture and Treasury Planning activities have been added. Sherwood will continue to report to Thomas P. Capo, vice president and treasurer.
 Kevin P. Broderick, Bank Relations and Financing executive, has been named director - Bank and Project Financing. In addition to his current responsibilities, Broderick will be responsible for the Real Estate and Project Finance activities. He continues to report to Capo.
 In the Controller's Office, other personnel changes reflecting consolidation and realignment of key finance activities to achieve greater operating effectiveness have been announced. In conjunction with this realignment, specific finance responsibility for each of the vehicle platform groups has been assigned within the new organizational structure.
 Susan J. Unger has been appointed finance director - Product Development and Jeep/Truck Operations. Prior to her current position, Unger had been director - Corporate Financial Analysis. Unger will report to James D. Donlon III, corporate controller.
 Frank P. Ramacciato has been appointed finance director of Manufacturing. Prior to this position he had been Production Cost Analysis manager. He will also report to Donlon in his new position.
 Other changes made in the realignment of activities and platform finance responsibility are: Keith A. Johnson, finance director of International and Small Car Operations; Richard F. Wallman, finance director of Sales and Marketing and Minivan Operations; Henry G. Spellman, finance director of Procurement, Mexico Planning and Large Car Operations; and Stephanie W. Bergeron, finance director of Corporate Financial Activities.
