CHRYSLER ANNOUNCES DECEMBER PRODUCTION

 HIGHLAND PARK, Mich., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Chrysler (NYSE: C) produced 48,302 passenger cars in its U.S. and Canadian assembly plants in December 1992. The company produced 36,896 cars in the U.S. and Canada in December 1991. Truck production for December 1992 totaled 89,614 units. Of these, 68,096 were built in the United States.
