CHRYSLER ANNOUNCES CHANGES IN SALES, FINANCE ORGANIZATIONS

 HIGHLAND PARK, Mich., Nov. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Chrysler Corporation (NYSE: C) today announced the appointment of Thomas R. Marinelli as General Sales Manager, joining General Sales Manager William C. Glaub. Chrysler also has named Joseph H. Casola and Mykle C. Jacobs as General Service Managers.
 All four will be located in Detroit area, with their responsibilities now based on business process rather than geographical location. The two general sales managers replace three who had covered East, Central and West areas; the two general service managers replace four who covered the East, Central and West areas, as well as Field Operations.
 The general sales managers report to E. Thomas Pappert, Vice President - Sales; the general service managers report to Thomas W. Sidlik, Vice President - Customer Satisfaction and Vehicle Quality.
 Chrysler also has appointed Rex L. Franson Finance Director - Sales and Marketing and Minivan Operations and has named John F. Knutson Finance Director - Product Development and Jeep(R)/Truck Operations.
 Both report to Corporate Controller James D. Donlon III, although Franson on certain initiatives also will report to Theodor R. Cunningham, Vice President - Sales and Marketing and Minivan Operations.
 Franson will be responsible for finance direction for Minivan Operations and financial control and analysis for the Sales and Marketing organizations. Knutson has responsibility for current platform operations, product financial analysis, advance prices and volumes, long range project planning and product line profit analysis.
 Marinelli, born March 13, 1952, in Waterbury, Conn., joined Chrysler in 1975 as a District Sales Manager in the Boston Zone Office. He most recently was Director - Sales Operations Planning.
 Glaub joined Chrysler in 1971 as a trainee in the Chicago Zone Office. Born May 4, 1949, he had been General Sales Manager - Central.
 Casola, born Nov. 27, 1951, in the Bronx, NY, was previously Manager - Business Planning and Marketing Strategies. He started with Chrysler in 1975 as a New York Zone Trainee.
 Jacobs was born in Atlanta, on March 5, 1948. He joined Chrysler's Chicago Zone Office staff in 1970 and most recently was General Manager - Service and Customer Satisfaction.
 Franson was previously Director of Sales and Marketing Plans. He started his auto industry career in 1981 at American Motors Corporation, joining Chrysler in 1987. He was born in Salt Lake City on March 17, 1954.
 Knutson was born in Framingham, Mass., on Aug. 31, 1940. He joined Chrysler in 1968 as a systems analyst and most recently was Director - Business Planning and Analysis.
