 CHOCK FULL O' NUTS NAMES BRESLIN CHAIRMAN AND CEO;
 SCHULMAN AND SALZHAUER JOIN BOARD
 NEW YORK, July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Chock full o' Nuts Corporation (NYSE: CHF) announced today that its board of directors has named Joseph A. Breslin, currently executive vice president for food services, to the position of chairman and chief executive officer.
 At the meeting held yesterday, the directors also elected Steve Schulman, president and chief executive officer of Chock full's Hillside specialty coffee division, to executive vice president of the corporation with overall responsibility for the company's marketing. He retains his duties at Hillside.
 Schulman was also elected to the board, along with Henry Salzhauer, vice president of Benjamin Electric Engineering Works. They take the board seats previously held by Leon Pordy, who was chairman and chief executive officer until he resigned earlier this month for health reasons, and by Max Apfelbaum, who died last week.
 Breslin, 46, joined the company in 1979 as vice president - administration, was named executive vice president for corporate development in 1985, and has had responsibility for the company's food services operations since January of 1991.
 His prior experience includes executive positions with Chromolloy American Corporation and General Electric.
 Breslin, who is married and has one daughter, holds degrees from Rutgers University and NYIT.
 Schulman, 41, who founded Hillside Coffee in 1978, joined Chock full when his company was merged into Chock full in 1991. Hillside is one of the leading roasters, distributors and marketers of specialty whole bean coffee to supermarkets. It is also the largest direct store deliverer of pre-packaged whole bean specialty coffee in the United States.
 Schulman holds a degree from the University of South Florida.
 Salzhauer, 56, has spent much of his business career at the family-owned Benjamin Electric, which is one of the largest electrical contractors in New York City. Salzhauer also has extensive experience in real estate and real estate-related operations. He holds degrees in engineering and management from M.I.T.
