 RADNOR, Pa. Jan. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Marjorie A. Michitti, senior vice president and general manager of Chilton Research Services announced today the creation of four industry specialty groups and the promotion of several key executives in an expansion move to provide clients with a broader range of marketing information services.
 In making the announcement, Michitti said, "The expansion provides the framework for consolidating Chilton's current business into formalized industry specialty groups and enables us to focus in depth on the industry specific information needs of our clients."
 The specialty groups will consist of Healthcare, Consumer Products, Business and Industrial Services, as well as the TEC (Telecommunications/Entertainment/Computers) GROUP.
 Michitti, formerly vice president and general manger of Chilton Research Services has been recently promoted to senior vice president and will continue to serve as Chilton Research Services' general manager.
 Denise F. Winokur, Ph.D. has been promoted to vice president and group manager of the Healthcare Group. Winokur has 16 years of experience in pharmaceutical and healthcare information services. She has been instrumental in the development and use of MicroProfiling, an analytical technique for profiling attitudes of healthcare professionals. Winokur will expand the Chilton staff of healthcare specialists in order to support these techniques as well as develop new products and services to meet the changing information needs of the healthcare industry.
 William J. Kramkowski has been promoted to vice president and group manager of the Consumer Products Group. With more than 15 years of experience as a consumer products marketer and research professional, Kramkowski possesses an impressive depth of knowledge in this specialty. In his new position, he will work exclusively with consumer products clients and retailers to develop effective research programs. His particular strength is in the creation and application of analytical products for sustaining brand equity and maximizing market performance.
 Robert J. Thomas, a current vice president and group manager of Chilton Research, will head the Business and Industrial Services Group. This group covers a broad range of industries including automotive and transportation and business services such as finance and insurance, as well as research for associations, non-profit organizations, and government agencies. With more than 15 years of research experience including prior employment with a major industrial manufacturer, Thomas provides clients with marketing insight and bridges a full cadre of marketing information resources provided by Chilton publications.
 Currently one-half of Chilton Research Services' revenues derive from marketing consulting and research services provided to corporations in telecommunications, entertainment and the computer industry. In order to leverage this expertise, the industry specialty expansion will involve the creation of the TEC GROUP, a new division of Chilton Research. The TEC GROUP will consist of two specialty components: an Entertainment Group and a Telecommunications and Computer Group.
 Dan E. Hagan, vice president and group manger, will continue to manage the rapidly growing entertainment side of the business where the focus will be on new products to fill the information gap of the emerging interactive multimedia industry. The most recent introduction is the CHILTON SPORTS POLL, a weekly multi-client survey tracking sports issues. The Entertainment Group, dedicated to monitoring all aspects of the leisure and entertainment market, provides custom and syndicated research for the movie industry, home video, and cable TV as well as conventional media research on print, radio and TV broadcasting.
 Ellen G. Burg, vice president and group manager, will be responsible for addressing the information needs of the converging telecommunications and computer technology industries. Her experience in the introduction of new products, measurement of product demand, customer satisfaction measurement, and determination of market size and optimal structure will enhance the value of services provided to clients in telecommunications and computer technology.
 In announcing the expansion plans, Michitti said, "Utilizing the new structure, we will be able to vertically integrate products and services which will result in the holistic delivery of value-added marketing insights. By concentrating our resources within narrower areas of interest, our marketing and research consultants can offer industry specific direction and guidance."
