CHEVRON COMPLETES SALE OF MINERAL INTERESTS IN CHILE

 SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CHV) has completed the sale of its one-third interest in the Collahuasi copper district joint venture in Chile to Minera Mantos Minorco Limitada, jointly owned by Minorco and Mantos Blancos, for approximately $190 million (US).
 The transaction, which was announced in October of this year, continues Chevron's efforts to withdraw from non-coal minerals activities as part of a broader strategy to focus on its core business.
