 CHESTER VALLEY BANCORP ELECTS TWO NEW DIRECTORS TO ITS BOARD
 DOWNINGTOWN, Pa., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Ellen Ann Roberts, president and chief executive officer of Chester Valley Bancorp (NASDAQ: CVAL), today announced the election of Robert J. Bradbury and Thomas H. Darlington as members of the board of directors of the company.
 The vacant positions were due to the resignation of one board member and to the creation of an additional seat on the board as permitted by the bylaws of the company. The continued board membership of these individuals will be contingent upon shareholder approval at the October 1992 Annual Meeting of the company.
 Bradbury is a senior vice president with Dolphin & Bradbury Incorporated, an investment banking firm located in Philadelphia. The firm specializes in public finance and the trading of tax-exempt securities. He has been with the firm since 1969 and, since its incorporation in 1986, he has held his current position and has been a member of the board of directors. Bradbury was graduated from La Salle University in Philadelphia, from which he received a bachelor of science degree in finance. His current professional affiliations include membership in the Municipal Bond Club of Philadelphia where he was also a member of the Board of Governors, and in the Bond Club of Philadelphia.
 Darlington is chairman and director of CGS Scientific Corporation in West Chester, Pa. Prior to this, he held the position of president and chief executive officer of the Pennsylvania Trust Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Trustees' Private Bank, of which he was managing general partner. He earned an MBA in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Villanova University. He includes among his professional activities memberships in the American Banking Association, the Pennsylvania Bankers Association, the Robert Morris Associates Credit Group and the Independent Bankers Association. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Chester County Council-Boy Scouts of America and on the Development Committee of Villanova University.
 Chester Valley Bancorp Inc. is the parent company of First Financial Savings Bank PaSA, a full-service bank headquartered in Downingtown, with branch offices in Exton, Frazer, Thorndale and Westtown. The newly elected directors will serve in the same capacity on the board of First Financial.
