 CHEMICAL LEAMAN ANNOUNCES 1991 RESULTS
 EXTON, Pa., Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Chemical Leaman Corporation


(NASDAQ: CLEA), whose subsidiaries include Chemical Leaman Tank Lines Inc. and NuBulk Services Inc., today reported a net income of $437,936 or $.49 per share for the year 1991, compared with a net income in 1990 of $429,472 or $.48 per share.
 These results were achieved on revenue decline to $222,736,188, down from $231,350,048 in 1990.
 For the fourth quarter, the company reported a net income of $243,421 or $.27 per share, while net income in the fourth quarter of 1990 was $66,548 or $.07 per share. Revenue recorded in the 1991 quarter was $55,965,467, up slightly from the 1990 levels of $55,515,202.
 Chemical Leaman President David R. Hamilton stated, "While earnings remained relatively constant year to year, we are encouraged that this performance was achieved even with a significant drop in revenue, due to the recessionary conditions in the economy. In recent months we have noticed a slight improvement in our business trends."
