 CHEMDESIGN NAMES ROBERT N. EBY GROUP VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS
 FITCHBURG, Mass., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- ChemDesign Corporation (NASDAQ: CDCC) today announced that Dr. Robert N. Eby, of Lexington, Mass., will assume the position of corporate group vice president of operations, effective April 1, 1992.
 Dr. Eby has over 30 years of chemical industry experience with Union Carbide Corporation and Polaroid Corporation. He was the manager of Polaroid's Fine Chemical Manufacturing Division prior to establishing a consulting business in 1988. Dr. Eby holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Princeton and received his Ph.D in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois.
 ChemDesign is engaged primarily in the development, manufacture and sale of fine chemicals on a custom basis. As a custom fine chemical producer, the company provides manufacturing services to its customers and produces a wide variety of products, each manufactured to the customers specifications and sells other fine and specialty chemicals.
