CHC Helicopter obtains Cayman Islands AOC.

M2 BEST BOOKS-(C)2000-2011 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

Offshore helicopter services provider CHC Helicopter said yesterday that it has formed a joint partnership with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands (CAACI) and has been issued with a Cayman Islands Air Operator Certificate (AOC).

This permits CHC to conduct offshore operations in several foreign jurisdictions worldwide and allows CAACI to diversify its base of private and corporate aircraft to accommodate the CHC Helicopter fleet.

Two inaugural CHC AS332L2 Super Puma aircraft have now been transferred to the Cayman Islands Register and will start offshore operations in South America in the near future.
